Winson has 18 years plus of combined working experience in IT industry specializing in Software QA and Agile (Scrum). He holds an MBA (e-Commerce), Certified Quality Manager from American Society for Quality (ASQ), Certified Scrum Master/Professional from Scrum Alliance, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt holder from Motorola University. He is also a strong believer into continuous learning leading him to pursue Neuro-semantic NLP and he is also an Agile Coach and Facilitator certified by IC Agile. It is his 12th year into managerial position in charge of QA Division; manage up to 50 QA professionals in his division. He has started from ground up 3 global QA organization, specialize in global test strategy. He believes in understanding and motivating his team to do great work, a team oriented manager, a strong communicator and forward thinker.
His career is focused consistently on utilizing his knowledge and experience in improving people, product quality, effective processes and promote organization excellence. In addition he also has strong interest in consulting and facilitation in the area of strategy, quality, management and processes. He is passionate in continuous upgrade on latest development in organization excellence, organization agility, game theory, generational gap in workplace as well as software testing strategy.
Winson is currently the Software Testing Leader for an Australian based MNC, heading the software testing teams, the overall quality direction and strategy of the company’s product and services for the Asia Pacific region. He looks forward to work with and share idea with quality professionals and those who are interested with Agile concepts. He has longstanding commitment with American Society for Quality (ASQ) and he has various position within ASQ Malaysia Local Member Community, an establishment in Malaysia that acts to promote and encourage the quality profession to grow and share idea among members. He holds various public elected position within ASQ Malaysia LMC, such as Chair, Vice-Chair and Communications Chair. He is currently the Communications Chair for 2016-2017.
His idea of contribution is to engage, share and facilitate to hopefully see one day, Malaysia as a global hub of software quality assurance and software testing center.
